Franklin Wharf Project
The Sullivans Cove Waterfront Authority and Tasports are working together to better manage Franklin Wharf as part of the working port and as an important public space.
A consultation document, Managing Franklin Wharf as a Shared Space was released for public comment between 23 February and 1 April 2009. A public exhibition coinciding with the release of the consultation document is still available for viewing at the Authority office at 5 Franklin Wharf, Hobart.
See more information about the Franklin Wharf Improvements Project...

Community Exhibition Space
The Sullivans Cove Waterfront Authority has an exhibition space in its offices which are used for public exhibitions related to Sullivans Cove. The Authority office and exhibition room is open to the public Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.
The Authority is keen to support exhibitions which engage with the Cove and surrounding areas. Proposals are especially welcome from designers, artists and collaborators who:
- Explore issues of relevance to urban design, architecture, creative processes, urban lifestyles, water fronts and new ways of thinking
- Stimulate discussion and cultural exchange
- Reflect issues of social, creative or cultural significance
- Provide opportunities for collaborations with external events and cultural organisations
- Reflect recent developments and achievements in research and cultural production
- Preferably represent more than one artist.
An information sheet giving details about the exhibition space is available.
