Advertised Applications

(also called Statutory Notices)

On this page:

Notification of Discretionary Applications

Discretionary applications are advertised in local media and appear on the Authority's web site below. These are applications that require the Authority to decide whether a permit should be granted or refused.

Written representations can be mailed, emailed or faxed to the Authority during the timeframe notified. If any representations are made within the notification period, the Authority must consider these when making its decision.

Only the applicant and any person making a representation during the notification period will have a right of appeal to the Resource Management and Planning Appeal Tribunal (RMPAT) against the Authority’s decision. Visit the RMPAT web site: www.rmpat.tas.gov.au.
